The Sins of Summer Daughters was an unexpected book I found hard to put down. From the story to the characters, I was totally invested.
The story goes between past and present. As I read more of the story, I found myself wanting to know more about what happened in the past rather than what was going on in the present. Meg, the MFC is not very likable. Neither were most of the other characters. Even so, I wanted to see this story to the very end. I had my guess of what the twist could be. However, I can’t confirm if it was right or not. Even after finishing the book!
There’s a lot of family drama and trauma that at times it overshadowed the story. Would I read another book by this author? Yes I would.
