When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
When I was about thirteen and my English teacher asked for a two page short story. I gave her a thirty page one, and told her I wasn’t finished.
What is your work schedule like when you’re writing?
I’m a dawn and dusk writer, before everyone is awake and when everybody has gone to sleep.
How many books have you written? Which is your fave?
Seducing Hope is my debut novel, which will quickly be followed by Surrendering Hope soon.
Where do you get your inspiration for your books?
Everywhere! From conversations I had as a child with my grandmother, to snippets I overhear in coffee shop. Nothing is safe!
Describe yourself in one word.
Nerdy
What was your hardest scene to write?
A toss-up between a particularly violent scene and the sexy scenes – but only because I knew my Dad would read it.
Do you hear from your readers? Have you experienced a weird fan girl moment?
I love speaking to readers. Social media makes us far more connected, and I love hearing what people thought. No weird fan girl moments – although I’ve met some incredible people though.
What are you currently reading?
A kingdom of flesh and fire by Jennifer L. Armentrout.
What advice would you give to other authors?
Writing a book is hard – but so worth it, keep in touch with the reading community and make the time to speak them. If you’re not writing, read… or occasionally sleep.
What is the one thing you want people to know about you and your books?
Writing comes from the heart. I hope to take you on a wild journey which will make you laugh, cry and be surprised.
