~My Review~

Jake and Stacey’s story comes to an end. Oh there’s plenty of surprises and twists! These two have come so far. Their lives, especially Stacey’s has changed so much since Jake came into her life. Definitely for the better. I was a bit emotional reading this book. If you’ve followed my reviews on this series, you’ll know that these characters have grown on me. I read through this book in one sitting. I both love and hated that I did. I should have read slower because the end came all too soon! How do you say goodbye to characters you love so much? As always, the perfect combo of a great story, emotion, and steamy sex scenes pull everything together. I highly recommend this book and the whole series. It’s a total guilty pleasure read. It’s ok though, you’re worth it. Go ahead and one click them. I give this 5 stars.

So much happens in this book! I think it’s going to be my favorite of the series! It’s that good. The book picks up where right where book one ended. Jake has his work cut out for him as Stacey tries to piece together what’s happened to her.

I totally binge read this book! I couldn’t put it down. These characters have grown on me and I wanted to be with them on this journey. I feel this book had a bit more emotion than the first. Not at all a bad thing. Like I said, SO much happens! I was cried. I laughed. I shouted. Ah great book. I give this 5 stars.

~My Review~

Take Me is a heavy and a somewhat tormented read. It’s also about forgiveness and finding love after sorrow. We follow Callie as she navigates her life following a break up with her long time boyfriend. This is by no means a sunshine and rainbows read. If you like dark reads like myself, you will most likely like this book. I loved a lot of the characters, especially Callie’s close friends. The chemistry between Callie and Caine was hot! I did have trouble feeling for Callie at times though. Some of the decisions she made didn’t make sense to me. I know heartbreak can make us do some crazy things but I felt she brought a lot of unnecessary situations unto herself. All in all, I thought this was a pretty good read. This is a new to me author and I look forward to reading more from her! I give this 4 stars.
