Oh Miss Savvy Rose! You know the way to my little black heart. 

This book had everything I desire in a dark romance read. Wickedly delightful woman, check. Hot alpha man, check. The heat between the two is off the charts. Once I was done, I was craving for more. 

The growth in which this author’s writing has grown, is amazing and impressive. This is author not to sleep on! She has a way with words and this book is one you don’t want to miss. Especially if you love dark romance like I do! I give it 5 stars.

How was I supposed to sleep in the same house with a woman I barely knew but couldn’t stop thinking about?

Seductive. Sinful. 

Twice as Twisted is seductive and sinful. From the passionate words the author weaves to the fascinating characters, this story will capture both your mind and imagination and leave you wanting more. 

The story as a whole is well written. I was intrigued by Alyssa. A huge part of me wished I was as confident as she is. Truly one of my favorite characters. The men….dreamy and totally wicked! 

I truly enjoyed this book! I was captivated from beginning to end. This exciting and consuming book is a must read! If you’re looking for something different that will tantalize your senses, this book is for you. I give it 5 stars.

The Literary Vixen presents…

Joining us today is Savvy Rose! Her next release, Twice As Twisted is releasing August 23rd 2021.

How long have you been writing?

I have been writing since I was a kid. I have always loved notebooks and I have accumulated quite a collection over the years.

Describe a typical writing day.

Writing days vary for me, since I have four kids. When they’re in school, I write any chance I get. I chase around a two-year-old, so that means jotting down notes all day.

Where do you get your inspiration for your books?

Real life. I love to observe people and behaviors.

Do you have a favorite character that you have written? If so, who? And what makes them so special.

Celeste is my favorite. She’s sassy and tough, and she’s a witch.

How do you deal with the emotional impact of a book (on yourself) as you are writing the story?

I had to stop writing before bedtime because I would dream about my characters. My characters feel very real to me. I like tea and wine, so you can usually find me binge watching Netflix with one of those two things, after I finish writing a book.

What book is currently on your bedside table?

My Kindle paperwhite is there. Current read is American Prince by Sierra Simone.

When writing a series how do you keep things fresh, for both your readers and also yourself?

 I plan to release a series surrounding Celeste’s story; and I plan on using a different female leads and her love interest in each one. I try to make all my characters as different as possible; I think that keeps things fresh.

Describe yourself in 3 words.

Silly, optimistic, sarcastic.

What advice would you give to other authors?

Don’t give up. It’s all a learning process, so trust the process!

What is the one thing you want people to know about you and your books?

My books come from a very real and raw place. I draw from my personal experiences, as well as others’. I strive to make my characters feel as real as possible.

Oh Devina….

This series is quite addicting! In this book we get Dev’s point of view. So many chaotic thoughts. She’s sort of a survivor. I wanted to protect her! I like that she tries to be a better person. No one is perfect and she knows this, yet she still tries. I rooted for her all the way through! While there was a lot of emotional scenes, the heat factor was still there. Oh my! This book will definitely heat up your night! 

Dark and sexy, this book was everything I needed! Devoured it in one sitting! Unputdownable! I give this 5 stars.

I devoured this book in one sitting! It’s sexy and tantalizing. The chemistry between Cyn and Dev is HOT! Each of these characters have their own demons to deal with and that made me love them even more. 

This is a dark read which made my little black heart happy! I love me some dark. I enjoyed both the writing and the story telling style of the author. Savvy Rose is a new to me author and I’m already a huge fan! I can’t wait to read more! 

If you’re looking for that guilty pleasure read that will leave you wanting more, this book is for you! I give this 5 stars.
