Continue Gruoch’s epic saga in Highland Vengeance, a Scottish Historical Fantasy, Book 3 in The Celtic Blood Series by New York Times best-selling author Melanie Karsak.

This one was packed with so much! Gruoch goes through so much and is tested in many ways. Every time I get into this series, I truly feel like I’m taken back in time. I went through many emotions throughout the book. Even shouting at some parts. Yes I am nerd for doing so but my fellow bookworms will and can relate! The narrator’s voice is lovely and brings this story to life. Lesley Parkin’s voice is melodic and is one of my fave narrators! I can’t wait to start the next! This fast became one of my favorite series! I give this 5 stars.

But an attempt on her life and an unexpected attraction threatens to derail her plans.
Alone in a new and dangerous world, learning who to trust and who to charm may mean the difference between becoming queen and being sent home in shame to marry her lecherous uncle. With traitors and murderers lurking around every corner, her very life hangs in the balance. Betrothed to one man but falling in love with another, Sophie will need to decide how much she’s willing to sacrifice in order to become the empress she is destined to be.
